1929 1879 French Rococo The Swing Print

vintage color mezzotint print titled "The Swing" (also commonly referred to as "The Garden Party"), published in London in 1929. It is a famous 20th-century engraving by the British master engraver Arthur Leonard Cox (1879–1962), produced after aoriginal 18th-century French Rococo painting by Jean-Baptiste Pater The muted multicolor garden scene is presented beneath a wide mat in an ornate gilt-tone foliate frame.
