1981 Effanbee John Wayne “Symbol of the West” Doll

Unique selection of a John Wayne commemorative doll, perfect for any collectors to put on display. Produced by Effanbee in collaboration with John Wayne Enterprises, this 17” figure dubbed “Symbol of the West” is the first released figure in the company’s “Legend Series”. The figure represents John Wayne within his quintessential Hollywood cowboy era with iconic frontier attire, cowboy hat, and Winchester Rifle. Figure comes in original box that has been opened but kept in excellent condition. Also included are a stand and original messaging from Wayne Enterprises thanking the consumer for their purchase as proceeds at the time went towards the John Wayne Cancer Research Fund. Overall figure is in great shape with no observable elements of ware. The white stand holding the figure appears to have some small black smudges on it.
