Limited edition print of “A New Lease” by G. Harvey created in 1988. Limited-edition # 430/1250. Artwork depicts a classic American Western scene with a modern twist, blending traditional ranching life with the early days of the oil industry. Two cowboys riding side-by-side on horseback down a muddy trail along a barbed-wire fence. They are wearing heavy, wide-brimmed Stetson hats and long, thick duster coats. Signed by the artist. Comes with a certificate of limited edition. G. Harvey, born Gerald Harvey Jones, (1933 - 2017) was an American traditionalist artist whose career spanned five decades with a wide range of collectors from Lyndon B. Johnson to Margaret Thatcher and Texas Governor John Connally. Harvey's paintings and sculptures have been collected and showcased throughout the world, including The White House and the Embassy of the United States, Moscow. Artwork is formally framed, matted and under glass housed in a brown wooden frame. Frame does have some aging wear. Frame measures 28” tall x 37” wide.
