Unique selection of a framed piece of art, perfect for home display. The piece is entitled “Surprise Set-In: Upper Klamath Honkers” and was produced by artist Don Kimmel. The artwork showcases a quaint woodlands waterfront with a grouping of geese flying overhead and ducks resting in the water. Picture is framed, matted and under glass, holding overall great presentation. The frame is specifically made from barn wood to match a rustic aesthetic. The complete piece measures 30” H x 36.5” W with the interior piece measuring approx. 18” H x 24” W. The piece is part of a limited edition run of 650 prints with this direct print not being numbered as it is an “Artist’s Proof”. The bottom right portion holds in pencil the notation of “Artist’s Proof” as well as what appears to be the artists signature. The bottom right corner holds what looks like a handwritten note from the artist to a direct intended person whom he was giving this picture to. The artist Don Kimmel is highly recognized within regional Pacific Northwest art circles and duck hunting communities. His primary focus is on capturing the North American waterfowl, specifically geese and ducks in active flight, landing sequences, or nesting within wetland habitats.
