Lot of 4 Marx Train Engine & Cars

Vintage selection of a Marx brand train engine and cars, perfect for any hobbyist or collector. Made of pressed steel and tin, the selection presents a traditional black New York Central Line locomotive and three articulated Union Pacific silver and red passenger cars. Instead of electricity, this train is of the pre-war (1930’s) variety and functions on a clockwork spring motor with a metal wind up key. Trains are designed for O-Gauge track systems and are untested. All units show some natural wear due to age but as a result hold a rustic character of yesteryear. Everything fits in an original Marx cardboard box that measures approx. 9.5” H x 15” W x 3” D. Box also holds some natural wear due to its age but maintains as a great showpiece.
