Serial # A385. 7x57mm Mauser caliber bolt action rifle with a 29-1/2” barrel. The bore is poor, dark with rust. Made by Ludwig Loewe in Germany in 1894. The metal finish on the barrel, receiver and trigger guard is a rusty brown patina. The receiver crest is intact. The barrel bands are a rusty brown patina. The floor plate and cleaning rod are missing. The bolt is rusty, no numbers are legible. The full-length military stock and hand guard are in fair condition showing dings, scratches and heavy finish wear. Rusty steel butt plate. Rusty military swivels. The action works fine. Includes a bayonet
