R Serial # 286367. .270 W.C.F (.270 Win.) caliber bolt action rifle with a 24” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made in 1954. The Super Grade upgrades the Standard Model with a marked floor plate and deluxe wood that features a black pistol grip cap and forearm tip, a raised cheek piece, and deluxe wrap around checkering. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in excellent condition showing little wear with a few scattered light blemishes. The matte black metal finish on the receiver is in excellent condition as well showing little sign of use. The blued metal finish on the steel Super Grade marked floor plate and trigger guard is in excellent condition showing just a hint of some light freckling and fine scratches. The bolt body is electro-penciled with the S/N. The nicely figured checkered walnut stock with a black nose piece and grip cap is in excellent condition showing little wear with a few light marks. Super Grade swivels bases. Original front sight and hood with a flip-down rear sight. Checkered steel butt plate. The action works fine. Includes a partial and full box of .270 Win. ammunition.
