Sharps New Model 1863 Carbine Replica

Serial # 37203. .52 caliber percussion fired single shot rifle with a 22” barrel. The bore is very good, mostly clean with strong rifling with some light fouling. The rifle is most likely a modern Italian made reproduction. It has features of an 1863 Model that has not been converted to cartridge firing. The S/N is the only marking; there are no other markings. The metal finish on the barrel is a brown patina with thinning, scratches and some scattered light rust. The receiver is mostly a gray patina with faded case colors. The lever is a worn brownish gray patina; the lever lock is missing. Sling bar on the left side missing the saddle ring. The hammer shows good, slightly faded case colors. The walnut stock and forearm are in very good condition showing scattered light dings and scratches with light finish wear. No cartouches visible. Fixed front sight with a ladder rear sight. The action works fine.
