Serial # 4593. .32 RF caliber single action spur trigger revolver. 3-1/2” octagon barrel. The bore is good, mostly clean with good rifling. Barrel marked “Whitneyville Armory”. 6 shot cylinder. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in fair condition showing heavy wear with scratches and scattered light rust. The blued metal finish on the fluted cylinder is in good condition showing edge wear and thinning; the finish is turning slightly brown. The brass frame is in good condition showing dulling and oxidation, there are traces of original silver plating visible. The hardwood grips are in very good condition showing some light marks. The action works fine. Approx. 2000 made from 1871 to 1879.
