R Serial # 44521. 8mm Nambu caliber semi auto pistol with a 3-3/4” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made at the Chuo Kogyo factory under Nagoya supervision in December, 1943. The metal finish on the slide is in fair condition showing heavy wear and thinning with scratches and a covering of older cleaned rust. The blued metal finish on the frame is in fair condition as well showing heavy wear with scratches and older cleaned rust. The checkered black plastic grips are in very good condition showing light wear with light scratches. The detachable magazine is mis-matched to the gun. Fixed sights. The action works fine. Type 94’s were made from 1935-1945. C&R.
