R Serial # 171295. .22 Sh-L-LR caliber pump action take-down rifle with a 24-1/2” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with strong rifling. Made in 1951. 2/3 length tubular magazine. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in fair condition; it is a mostly brown patina showing light muzzle wear with a covering of light surface rust. The magazine tube shows action wear with scratches and light surface rust. The blued metal finish on the receiver is in fair condition showing edge wear, thinning and scratches with a covering of light rust. The left sight has been drilled for a side scope mount. The grooved walnut forearm and the plain walnut butt stock are in very good condition showing scattered light dings and scratches with finish wear. Original front and rear sights. Checkered metal butt plate. The action works fine. Includes a Weaver B4 scope in a Weaver side mount. Made from 1936 to 1954. C&R.
