This primitive hand-crafted hardwood stool features a wide slab rocker base supporting a rectangular seat with a deep concave curve. The construction utilizes visible through-tenon joinery and thin cylindrical stretchers between four splayed legs. The dark-stained surface exhibits a heavy aged patina consistent with historical work.Overall Length: 22 inchesOverall Width: 11.5 inchesSeat Height: 10 inchesSeat Width: 10.5 inches.Good primitive condition with significant longitudinal splits visible in both the seat and the base board. The surface shows widespread scratches, abrasions, and minor chipping to the edges. One horizontal leg stretcher is missing.
