'Hide and Seek' Color Print

A color print on paper titled 'Hide and Seek' after Wilhelm Hasselbach, featuring a copyright date of 1908. The rustic interior genre scene depicts a young girl in a red headscarf peering through a doorway while a smiling boy peeks from behind a partition wall. A central wooden table is covered with a white cloth and holds a stack of linens and a metal flat iron. Beneath the table, a black and white cat is visible resting inside a woven wicker basket. The print is housed in a period gilded wood and composition frame decorated with molded scrollwork and a tan paper mat. The lower right corner of the print features a printed inscription reading 'Copyright 1908 by Louis Klopsch'. The reverse of the frame retains a rectangular green paper retailer label from the Detroit department store 'Crowley Milner & Co.
