This mid-century four-skin mink fur stole is composed of four full-body pelts joined in pairs, featuring taxidermy-style heads with dark glass eyes, paws with claws, and bushy tails. The warm brown fur is lined with fabric-covered rings and loops for adjustable configuration. A woven fabric label sewn to the underside reads Nigbor Furs in gold script on a brown background. The wrap fastens using spring-tension clips concealed within the mouths of the leading pelts. Measured from nose to tail tip, the length is 37 inches. The width of two pelts laid side-by-side measures between 7.5 and 8 inches at the widest point. The fur remains generally lustrous, though there is visible material loss and wear to the nose and muzzle areas of the pelt heads. Occasional guard hair breakage and thinning are present, consistent with age and use. One spring-tension clip features a green crocheted protective cover.
