A weighted sterling silver compote manufactured by the Preisner Silver Co. of Wallingford, Connecticut. The underside of the base is stamped with the Preisner script mark and model number 185.Height: Approximately 6 inchesWeight: 203.4 grams The item exhibits significant tarnish and oxidation throughout, particularly within the bowl and around the base tiers. General surface wear including fine scratches and minor indentations are present, notably at the junction of the stem and bowl. The silver shell remains intact with no visible breakthrough to the internal weighting material.
