A pair of American sterling silver candlesticks by Empire Silver Company, each designed in a classic baluster form with a stepped circular base. These pieces feature a weighted construction for stability and are stamped Empire, Sterling, Weighted, 36, and 4 on the undersides. Height: Approximately 8.75 inchesGross weight: 23.0 oz.The pair is in fair to good estate condition with extensive surface tarnish and light scratching throughout. Several small dents are visible along the stems and bases, and the candle cups contain significant dried red wax residue.
