Royal HH standard manual typewriter, the full size desktop office machine Royal built through the middle 1950s. Brown crinkle finish paint with a chrome ROYAL nameplate set in a recessed panel above the keyboard. Keys are dark green with white legends in standard QWERTY, with the tab lever and shift keys molded in the same green. TAB CLEAR and TAB SET buttons at the upper left and right, BACK SPACE and MAR REL flanking the number row, tan space bar, large green TAB lever on the right. Carriage is complete with paper table, printed scale, two black paper guides, chrome paper bail, chrome return lever, and knobs at both ends. Type bars and segment appear complete and seated. The back panel carries the ROYAL script logo and Royal crown emblem in gold, heavily worn and flaking. Condition is good for age with paint wear, dust, and grime. Not tested by us. No case, cover, or manual included. Green key examples are the version most buyers ask for. Estimated Value: $75 to $150 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
