Three piece lot. (1) A brass color lift arm pocket lighter. Decals of a long haired dachshund and an Afghan hound on green. Fair to good with heavy use: case scratching, tarnish, plating loss, faint worn lift arm engraving not readable in photos, and chipping on both decal edges. Untested, assume it needs flint, wick, and fluid. (2) and (3) Two gold clad novelty art bars in clear acrylic cases with stands. The first shows the Prussian Pour le Merite cross and DER ROTE BARON with a Fokker triplane and Manfred von Richthofen dates. The second shows a crucifixion scene with doves and the Ten Commandments on the reverse, bottom line reading ONE TROY OUNCE, 100 MILS .999 FINE GOLD CLAD, SERIAL NUMBER 333000333. Gold clad means a base metal core, usually copper or brass, with an extremely thin plated layer of gold on the outside. They are not solid gold, they hold only a trace of gold, and their melt value is close to nothing. They are collected and priced as novelty art bars only. Estimated Value: $25 to $45 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
