Four pairs of gold colored pierced earrings, one signed by a well known American maker. (1) Hoops with a bright gold colored band and a cream white enamel stripe running around the outside, marked NAPIER on the inside of the hoop. (2) Full bloom rose flower earrings with deeply molded petals and a lever back closure. (3) Small smooth teardrop or bulb shaped drops on simple gold colored wires. (4) Long open oval J hoops with a thick tapered bottom, also on wires. Condition is very good. The enamel on the Napier hoops is smooth and unchipped with only light wear at the edges, and the other three pairs are bright with minor plating loss at the high points. Signed Napier is actively collected and consistently outperforms unsigned costume jewelry of the same age and style. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $20 to $30 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
