Five pairs of bright silver colored costume earrings in sculpted and polished 1980s and 1990s styles, including one signed pair. (1) Open scroll and ribbon half hoops marked Monet with the copyright symbol on the reverse. (2) Large oval button earrings with a raised interlocking swirl across the face. (3) Wide polished hoops with a hinged clip and post back. (4) Doorknocker style earrings with a pointed cone top and a double ring drop below. (5) Hammered and twisted double hoop dangles on wires, with an inner and outer ring on each. Condition is very good. The plated pieces are bright with only light surface marks, and the hammered double hoops show age darkening consistent with silver. Monet was a major American costume jewelry maker known for heavy well finished metalwork, so a signed Monet piece is a quality marker inside a mixed lot. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $20 to $30 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
