A vintage fishing rod and reel combination featuring a black Silstar DX 40 spinning reel paired with a Berkley rod. The reel is constructed with ball bearings and is geared at a ratio of 4.7:1. It is equipped with a three-setting anti-reverse system, an internal bail trip mechanism, and a folding bail. Technical specifications for line capacity are printed on the spool housing, indicating 180 m for 0.30 mm line and 130 m for 0.35 mm line. The reel body displays a yellow identification sticker numbered 78-455110. The associated black Berkley rod features a contoured metallic-finish reel seat embossed with the BUMP logo. Length approx. 181.6 cm (71.5 inches) measured against a tape measure. Condition: The equipment shows signs of significant prior use and long-term storage, with a heavy accumulation of surface dust and grime throughout. There are visible surface scuffs and abrasions to the reel housing and rod blank. The guide at the rod tip contains trapped fibrous debris and frayed material. The mechanical functionality of the reel has not been tested.
