A two-piece freshwater fishing outfit comprising a Shakespeare Ugly Stik spinning rod and an Abu Garcia Cardinal 100U ultralight spinning reel. The rod is constructed with a black blank featuring the signature clear fibreglass tip and a traditional cork grip fitted with a Shakespeare Twist Lock Design reel seat. The Abu Garcia Cardinal 100U reel is a compact spinning model with a silver-toned metal spool, folding handle, and a 4 bearing drive with a gear ratio of 5.1:1. The spool is currently loaded with monofilament fishing line. Visible markings on the rod include the Shakespeare and Ugly Stik logos in gold-toned script. The reel bears the Abu Garcia mark, model number 100U, and line capacity specifications of 4/100 and 6/75. Length of rod tip section: approx. 101.6 cm (measured as 40 inches on visible tape). Condition: The outfit is in used condition with visible wear throughout. The cork handle exhibits pitting and surface loss. One line guide on the upper rod section is detached and currently secured with a temporary green plastic tie, requiring professional repair or re-wrapping. The reel shows minor surface scratches consistent with field use.
