An assortment of publications covering maritime navigation, medicine, and fine art. The collection includes two hardcovers and three softcover items. The hardcovers consist of Chapman's Piloting, Seamanship and Small Boat Handling in blue publisher's cloth with gilt lettering, and The New Illustrated Medical Encyclopedia and Guide to Family Health by Robert E. Rothenberg, M.D., bound in red textured boards with gilt-stamped titles. Softcover items include Sailing Directions: Great Lakes, Volume I, Tenth Edition, published in 1986 by the Canadian Hydrographic Service; a booklet titled Canada's Hour featuring an oil derrick and grain stalks on the cover; and a large-format portfolio titled 50 Norman Rockwell Favorites, labeled as suitable for framing. Dimensions (measured against a visible tape showing only inches): Hardcovers: Height approx. 11.5 inches (approx. 29.2 cm) Canada's Hour: Height approx. 12 inches (approx. 30.5 cm) Norman Rockwell Favorites: Height approx. 14.25 inches (approx. 36.2 cm). Condition: The collection shows signs of age and shelf use. The hardcovers exhibit light rubbing to the boards and minor bumping at the corners and spine ends. Softcover publications display more evident wear, including edge chipping, surface scuffs, and creasing. Canada's Hour shows significant age-related toning and cover wear. The Rockwell portfolio has visible corner creasing and general surface wear to the wrappers.
