This lot features two utility hand tools. The first is a Mastercraft double-face sledgehammer with a forged steel head and a wooden handle. The handle is stamped with the stylized Mastercraft logo, the numerical code 57 4125 8, and the text Genuine Hickory. A weathered adhesive label with a United States flag motif is located near the base of the handle. The second item is a single-bit axe with a steel head mounted to a wooden handle. The axe head retains traces of red paint on the poll. The handle includes a yellow-painted upper section and a hole drilled through the end for hanging. Condition: The sledgehammer shows evidence of heavy use, including significant mushrooming on both striking faces and surface oxidation on the head. The handle remains structurally sound but shows typical wear, scuffing, and dirt accumulation. The axe is in as-found condition with heavy surface rust overall on the head and a weathered handle. Both tools exhibit characteristic signs of age and utility.
