Vintage large size COOPER TIRES one-sided, 2-piece framed metal sign. Cooper Tires was founded in 1914 and acquired by Goodyear in 2021. The Cooper “Knight” first appeared in 1941 and was associated with the proclaimed tires “armored cord” construction. This large sign comes in two sections. Each section has four mounting holes, two on top and two on the bottom. Sign had a metal edge that folds around all sides and is nailed to a wood framework. This makes the sign solid and easier to mount. Sign has very nice red, white and blue colors with the Kight in the middle. Sign is in very good condition. Has some wear around the mounting holes and has one cut in the metal below the Kight head. Cut in the metal is 4.5” long. Sign size makes this a great piece for the garage or outside shed. Sign measures 141” long (70.5” each section), 28.5” tall and .75” deep. ** SHIPPING DISCLAIMER: Due to the size and weight of this item, we are unable to provide in-house shipping.
