Antique Keystone Mfg. Co. brand 1927 Packard screen side U. S. Mail truck. This larger size pressed steel toy is all original with uniform patina throughout but in overall very good condition for its age. Looks to be complete including the rear closing doors. Steering wheel turns the front wheels. Packard was mainly a luxury car and the Packard “detail” is displayed very well in this model being reflected in the front radiator shell. Has the “Keystone Packard” name on the radiator shell and the decal on the inside floor board states “Packard MODEL GUARENTEED, Built by the Keystone Mfg. Co, Boston, Mass.” The “U. S. Mail” decal is on the sides. The rubber tires are complete and in good condition. On the tires is molded “HOOD BALLOON TIRE, Made for Keystone Mfg. Co. Boston Mass. A nice large toy with great detail that displays very well. A great piece for the toy collector. Measures 11.5” tall, 26” long and 8.5” wide.
