Manufactured in November 1993 with 4,500 units produced, Data East’s Tales From The Crypt Pinball is “Frightfully Fun!” The pinball is themed after the famous popular television show and the comic book series before that with your ghoulish host, the Crypt Keeper. Shoot the Electric Chair for 6-ball multiball mode, hit the Super Guillotine Targets, and smash the Tombstone to spell “C-R-Y-P-T” to unleash a Monster Jackpot! Playfield: Bold and colorful with main features intact based upon general overview inspection. There might be some slight presented wear due to the nature of play but table is in great condition. Playfield holds a clever horror theme that plays into the elements of scare but also uniquely displays the topic with a light novelty comic flair. Backglass: Colorful and reflective, artwork showcases well displaying the notorious Crypt Keeper. Scoring is displayed on a Dot Matrix display with a series of unique animations. Topper of a “Tales From the Crypt” tombstone also present. Cabinet: Original artwork with clean representation and presentation. Sides hold a darker blue color with the infamous Crypt Keeper holding a sign for “Tales From the Crypt” next to a rat.
