A group of relief-molded earthenware mugs featuring scenes from A Christmas Carol. The scenes are finished with hand-painted over glaze enamels above a rope-twist border. The bases bear printed brown marks reading BESWICK and Royal DoultonGroup alongside handwritten limited edition numbers. These pieces are dated annually from 1973 through 1982 and include informational paper inserts. Each is 5 inches tall. Chips to the upper rims of two mugs. Moderate shelf wear and darkening to the unglazed foot rims throughout. Light surface crazing consistent with age may be present.
