Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973) Original lithograph from the highly sought after deluxe edition of Picasso Dessins by Waldemar George. Published by Editions des Quatre Chemins, Paris. Pencil signed lower right. Depicting Cubist Seated Figure With Portrait in Picasso's elegant neoclassical style. This bold Cubist composition features a monumental seated figure constructed from interlocking geometric forms, dramatic black planes and richly textured patterning. A framed profile portrait within the composition introduces an intriguing narrative element while reinforcing Picasso's fascination with multiple viewpoints and fractured space.
