Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881–1973) Original lithograph from the deluxe edition of Picasso Dessins by Waldemar George. Published by Editions des Quatre Chemins, Paris. Pencil signed lower right. Depicting Group of Five Nude Figures in Picasso's elegant neoclassical style. Issued on Arches paper in a limited edition of 100 copies accompanying the deluxe publication. Numbered on verso 47/100. This graceful composition exemplifies Picasso's celebrated neoclassical period, when he embraced the simplicity and balance of classical figure drawing following Cubism. The fluid line work and rhythmic arrangement of the figures make this one of the more elegant and visually engaging plates from the Picasso Dessins portfolio, appealing to collectors of Picasso's classical figurative works.
