Green round squat porter shaped bottle. Embossed on the front KOHL & BEANS EASTON PA. And embossed on the reverse THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD. Iron pontiled base with no remaining iron. With applied double tapered lip. Circa 1850s. Condition is dug with overall staining and wear, and there is a 1/2 inch long crack extending from the top of the lip on the reverse extending down into the neck. There is another small approximately 1/4 inch crack below the larger crack and probably associated with it. Measures approximately 2 7/8 inches wide x 7 1/8 inches tall.
