Sapphire blue round squat pony shaped bottle. Embossed on the front J.A. LOMAX 14 & 16 CHARLES PLACE CHICAGO. And embossed on the reverse THIS BOTTLE MUST BE RETURNED A&D.H.C. Embossed JL on the base. Smooth base. With applied rounded blob lip. Circa 1870s. Condition is dug and tumble cleaned with remaining interior staining and exterior ground wear and scratching. There is a 1/4 inch bruise on the lower side of the lip, a 1/4 inch open bubble on the side near the mold seam, a 1/8 inch bruise above the A in Lomax, and there is 1/4 inch bruise on the foot. Measures approximately 2 5/8 inches wide x 7 1/4 inches tall.
