Aqua round medicine bottle. Embossed on the front in a circle U.S.A. HOSP. DEPT. Smooth base. With applied square collar lip. Circa 1860s. These are a very popular civil war era bottle. Condition is dug with some patchy staining mostly to the exterior and there is a 1/4 inch chip to the side of the lip. Measures approximately 2 5/8 inches wide x 6 5/8 inches tall.
