Yellow Amber rectangular snuff jar. Unembossed. Blown in a rectangular two piece mold. Open pontiled base. With sheared and fire polished lip. Circa 1840s-1850s. Probably blown at a New England area glasshouse. Condition is dug, and there is exterior patchy staining and wear, and a 1/8 inch chip on the base edge. Measures approximately 2 3/4 inches wide x 4 1/4 inches tall.
