Aqua round utility type wide mouth jar. Unembossed. Blown in a dip mold. Open pontiled base. Applied rounded collar lip. Circa 1840s. Retains an original label for Rotten Stone Prepared By Louis Beckers Manufacturing Chemist No 56 North Fifth Street Philada. Condition is attic found with no damage to the bottle. There is some heavy stain and discoloration to the label, and some losses to the edge of the label. Measures approximately 2 3/8 inches wide x 5 inches tall.
