Aqua oval quart flask. Embossed on the front with a bust of Washington and embossed on the reverse with a large federal eagle and shield with seven stars above and five below. Open pontiled base. With sheared and fire polished lip. Catalogued by Mckearin as GI-26. Circa 1830s. Condition is attic found with patchy overall interior haze and there is a 1 1/2 inch x 1/4 inch hole on the medial rib at the side. Measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide x 8 1/2 inches tall.
