Yellow oval half pint flask. Embossed on the front with a classical bust facing left and on the reverse with a classical bust facing right. Traditionally attributed as Byron & Scott; however, more recent research has attributed the two busts as being that of Daniel Webster and Henry Clay. Open pontiled base. With sheared and fire polished lip. Cataloged by Mckearin as GI-114. Circa 1840s. Condition is attic found and there is a 1/8 inch flake off the bottom edge of the base near the side. Measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide x 5 7/8 inches tall.
