Amber oval shape half pint flask. Embossed on both sides horizontally with federal eagle with shield clutching arrows and olive branches in it's talons. Open pontiled base. Sheared and fire polished lip. Cataloged by Mckearin as GII-71. Attributed to the Conventry Connecticutt glassworks. Circa 1840. Condition is attic found, however there is a pot stone with an associated 1/2 inch line in eagle's neck on one side Measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide x 5 5/8 inches tall.
