Bluegreen oval pint flask. Embossed on the front with a masonic arch and other masonic symbology. Embossed on the reverse with a small federal eagle and shield below a banner containing E PLURIBUS UNUM above an oval wreath containing the letters IP which stands for Justus Perry. Solid rod pontil base. With inwardly rolled and tooled lip. Cataloged by Mckearin as GIV-1. Attributed to the Keen Marlboro Street glass works. Circa 1820s. Condition is attic found and there is a pot stone in the top edge of the lip with a small area of iridescent bruising, but no other damage. Measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches tall.
