Sapphire blue quart oval flask. Embossed in a large ovall medallion on one side with bust of Washington and embossed in a large oval medallion on the other side with a bust of General Taylor. Open pontiled base. With applied lip. Catalogued by Mckearin as GI-54. Circa 1850s. Condition is attic found with some high point wear, mostly to the George Washington side, and there is a small pot stone underneath George Washington near the base of the flask with 3 small legs coming off it. Measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide x 8 3/4 inches tall.
