Amber square bitters bottle. Embossed in an indented panel LIPPMAN'S GREAT GERMAN BITTERS and embossed on another indented panel SAVANNAH GEORGIA. Smooth base. Applied double tapered lip. Circa 1870s. Condition is dug with overall staining. There is a 1/4 inch chip with associated bruise on the edge of a blank indented panel, there is an open bubble on the shoulder with assocaited bruise and two small lines, there is a 1/4 inch chip off of a base corner, there is an open bubble on the back panel edge, and there is a 1/4 inch chip to the top edge of the lip. Measures approximately 2 5/8 inches wide x 9 3/4 inches tall.
