Amber rectangular two roof figural cabin bitters bottle. Embossed on the front roof KELLY'S OLD CABIN BITTERS, embossed on the side of the roof PATENTED 1863, embossed on the reverse of the roof KELLY'S OLD CABIN BITTERS, and embossed on the other side PATENTED 1863. Smooth base. Applied tapered lip. Circa 1860s. This example was dug at Fort Mcpherson, Nebraska. Condition is dug with patchy overall staining and there is a 1/4 inch bruise on a log on one side and there is a 3/8 inch bruise on the corner of a log on the other side. Measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide x 9 1/4 inches tall.
