Fabulous historic all original Gone With the Wind style oil lamp, circa 1890s, marked Plume and Atwood on the turn knob which is the metalworking company who made the brass / bronze components including the burner which is marked Eagle (Plume and Atwood). . Assembly is attributed to Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company whose artists would have hand decorated the poppies on the milk glass globes. The metal base is decorated with French fleur de lis reminiscent of old New Orleans style. This lamp looks to be ALL ORIGINAL and still retains the tall glass chimney. Most of these were electrified over the years making this one in the original oil a rare find and a piece of history. Burns on coal oil / kerosene / lamp oil. Victorian, Gone with the Wind, Old South heritage antique lighting interest.
