Photo is signed in ballpoint pen and is an original 1960s campaign photograph given to a Navarro County farmer who was a friend and supporter of LBJ and a member of the Democratic party. After much research we believe that both signatures were done by the secretaries of John F Kennedy and Lyndon Baines Johnson, who were the president and vice president campaigning in Texas in 1963 for re-election, either by hand signing or by autopen. This was a very common practice for the secretaries to sign such items. While the piece probably does not carry presidential signatures, it is nevertheless a desirable piece of history from the ill-fated Texas campaign in 1963 when John F Kennedy was assassinated, supposedly by Lee Harvey Oswald, during the parade in Dealey Plaze, Dallas Texas. While original signatures would make the piece worth $10k or much more, ones signed by autopen or secretaries of JFK or LBJ are still routinely valued in the $200-$500 range, and this piece has both presidents.
