Published in 1938 by A. Lang Verlag in Munich (printed by J. Räuschle, Kirchheim), this original softcover travel guide is titled Illustrierter Führer (Werbeführer): Südbayern – Bayer. Allgäu, Kl. Walsertal – Bodensee (Illustrated Guide: Southern Bavaria – Bavarian Allgäu, Little Walser Valley – Lake Constance). Bound in orange and magenta printed paper wrappers featuring a graphic mountain landscape illustration, the booklet served as a promotional regional travel directory. The interior features black-and-white photogravure illustrations showcasing regional sights—such as Lake Weßling, Lake Wörth, Bad Reichenhall, and the Inn Valley—alongside detailed descriptions of local towns, regional railways, and local commercialadvertisements for regional hotels, gasthofs, and cafes. The softcover booklet measures 7 x 5.25 inches. The paper wrappers display light edge rubbing, minor spine creasing, and faint surface smudging.
