Dating to World War II, this pair of hand-painted, hollow-molded early-plastic pins depicts chimney sweeps in black uniforms and top hats, equipped with work bags and tools. Issued as Winterhilfswerk (WHW) donation tokens, these pieces represent traditional European good-luck symbols distributed during street campaign drives. Molded numerals "2" and "3" appear on the reverses, with no maker's marks visible. Each stands approximately 2 inches tall. One figure retains its reverse metal pin assembly, while the other is missing its pin hardware. Condition includes paint loss, surface scratches, light soiling, and discoloration. One pin has heavy adhesive residue and repair material on the reverse, while the remaining pin hardware exhibits oxidation and verdigris.
