ca. 1890 imprint with a 1901 bookplate; Attributed to Barbera Ebersol (1846-1922), a Lancaster Co. Amish Fraktur artist. Mounted to inside cover of an 1890 leatherbound imprint, "Das Neue Testament...Doctor Martin Luthers" printed in Lancaster by Johann Barr's Sohnen. A German text Martin Luther translation. The 1901 Fraktur bookplate is ink watercolor-tempura done for Samuel Kinnig (King) with Barbara's "web-rose" design with green-orange spiral pattern textbox; Book - 4 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 1 1/2"; Condition: Both the "New Testament" and bookplate are in excellent condition.
