ca. early - mid 20th century; Attributed Lancaster-Berks County area, whimsical polychrome painted turtle footstool in softwood screw and nail construction with scroll cut legs, tail and head. The stool has oval cut top, shape-cut legs, brightly painted with green body, black painted pattern and legs accented with spots of black paint. The tail and head are yellow painted with black painted dots; 17" x 9 1/2" x 5 3/4"; Condition: Good, no noted damage
