ca. 1920's-1940's; 1. Attributed to Buffalo Cooperative Stove Co. "Amherst Stoves" buffalo is described as a bank in several bank references. It has a narrow slot in back, two-part screw assembled casting with black paint and embossed lettering on the buffalo's sides, 8"L x 5 3/8", Condition: Casting does not have a true slot for coins but only a purported slot for bills; good paint with minimal chipping. 2. Attributed to Hubley Mfg. cat with tail up doorstop (reference calls it "Three Dimensional Cat" doorstop), standing with arched back and raised tail in cream tone ground with gray stripes and green eyes, 8 1/4"L x 10 3/4"H, Condition: Older casting has possible crack to back casting behind front leg; some chipping to paint; cat has poorly finished grinding along back (possible factory second, or Wright's Corp. casting)
