ca. 1848-1854; Ephraim Capen and George Molineux worked in New York City. The two signed chamberstick lamps have saucer base finger tote and fluid burning wick with chain mounted caps: 1. Marked additionally "7" cup shaped lamp with a double-wick cap and fancy molded scrolled handle, 4 1/8" dia. x 4 3/4" x 4 3/4"H, Condition: as found, some minor dents and damage to collar on pan base. 2. Marked additionally "3" inkwell shaped lamp with a single-wick cap, simple ring tote and 1" wide cove-type base, 4" dia. X 5", Condition: Polished, upper portion restored, Good-Very good
